Mount Daisen.

The largest mountain in the Tottori/Matsue region is Daisen at 1.729 metres high . One of the people I have made friends with at Yoshi-Ima in Kyoto, Akane-san, comes from Tottori and her father regularly climbs Daieen

Oysters are a local delicacy in Hiroshima. They have a different flavour to Australian oysters (or American oysters). The place where I had lunch does them steamed in the shell. Also had scallop nigiri sushi.
