Aomori festival
Aomori is famous for its summer festival were floats with giant paper mache decorations. The station has replica s of these decorations.
Lunch in Hiroshima
Oysters are a local delicacy in Hiroshima. They have a different flavour to Australian oysters (or American oysters). The place where I had lunch does them steamed in the shell. Also had scallop nigiri sushi.
Very impressive displays Pete. They help get across the difference in culture between here and there.
