Lunch in Hiroshima
Oysters are a local delicacy in Hiroshima. They have a different flavour to Australian oysters (or American oysters). The place where I had lunch does them steamed in the shell. Also had scallop nigiri sushi.
Station Cats
Hirado station has a pair of cats. This isn't that unusual as a station in Wakayama actually has a cat for a station master.
Is it all station, or is it shopping centre as well? It appears to be fairly quiet = were you there late in the evening, or is it a not so busy part of town?
