There has been a lot of bear sightings in Japan lately although the ones at Huis Ten Bosch are a little different.

Lunch in Hiroshima
Oysters are a local delicacy in Hiroshima. They have a different flavour to Australian oysters (or American oysters). The place where I had lunch does them steamed in the shell. Also had scallop nigiri sushi.
Station Cats
Hirado station has a pair of cats. This isn't that unusual as a station in Wakayama actually has a cat for a station master.
What sort of bears do they have in Japan?
ReplyDeleteMost of Japan, hungry medium sized black bears. Hokkaido mean large brown bears (think they're related to Grizzlies) However none of them like to fly (just ask a certain Japanese martial artist)
