Noboribetsu

Noboribetsu is a small costal town with a hot-springs are up in the mountains. The hot-springs area also has a bear park but as it's snowing and you have to take a rope-way up to the park I decided to stay at my inn and soak in the outdoor bath while it snows. I did get a photo of the mascot at the station. (Hokkaido brown bears are related to North American grizzly bears from memory)
