Sasebo Burger
It has been said that the first hamburger in Japan was made in the 1950s in Sasebo.
Sasebo is a major US navy base so the story is likely true. You can get them at Huis Ten Bosch along with various other European food like fondue.
Looks delicious, although that is a lot of bacon in comparison to most burgers I have seen.
